Test field comparing module technologies in very hot and dusty environment. GTC p-Type Mono PERC double glass panel with white background is challenging with HIT Bi-Facial and N-type wafers with an excellent yield. An Average of 5% better yield (kWh/kWp) compared to standard Tier-One Polycrystalline standard module designs. Moreover Extended reliability tests made at RETC California show great performance of GTC for the long run (IEC x 3).

Why PV?

A country with no natural energy resources, Turkey has always suffered an accounts deficit due to energy imports. However, the Sun is free and Turkey has a huge potential with abundant free sun radiation over the year exceeding 1.500 kWh/m²/year.

Products

GTC currently laminates high performance monocrystalline 20.3% efficiency PERC cells within thin ultra clear 2mm ARC glasses and advanced encapsulants. High power,   minimum losses at higher temperatures and longer life times are the end result.

GTC regularly organizes seminars about PV technologies in its region to inform investors, local authority bodies and partners about selection and quality of photovoltaic systems. GTC is always happy to share its intellectual constructivity and social awareness.
